A postcolonial and pan‐African feminist reading of <i>Zimbabwean women entrepreneurs</i>

چکیده
This paper challenges the Eurocentric entrepreneurship narrative from postcolonial and pan-African feminist perspectives. Based on interview research conducted with 24 Zimbabwean women entrepreneurs, we narrate their microstorias in order to expose legacy of entrepreneurial colonialism patriarchy Africa. The reveal colonial past as well patriarchal norms that disenfranchise entrepreneurs Zimbabwe. Yet, they also struggle, resilience, resistance ongoing fight construct own identities entrepreneurs. contributes enhance advance further postcolonial, decolonial critical voices organization studies by challenging prevailing western discourse introduction necroentrepreneurism; giving support intersectional Pan-African perspectives voice global South and, decolonizing decentring theoretical debates organization.
